FileNest provides the batch renaming, image processing, clear-image OCR, text-to-document, local PDF, CSV/TSV/JSON and duplicate-detection tools clearly listed on its tool pages. Formats or capabilities not listed there are outside the current service scope.
No credit card is required. Core batch renaming and duplicate detection remain free. Credit-consuming image, OCR, text-document, PDF and data conversions require a free account and share a server-enforced rolling limit of 5 successful files per 24 hours; file tools allow 25 MB per file and 3 files per batch, and unused credits from failed or incomplete files are returned.
The plan is one Pro tier at $4.99 monthly, $11.99 every 3 months or $35.99 every 12 months. The current ChatGPT Sites test host does not accept payments. Automatic renewal and tax display through Stripe will open only after migration to production hosting suitable for commercial transactions and end-to-end testing.
The planned allowance is 300 standard conversions every 30 days; quarterly and annual subscriptions still reset every 30 days. The current early safety cap is 50 MB per file and 10 files per batch; FileNest no longer advertises an untested 50-file/200-MB limit. Future high-compute jobs will show their cost before processing. FileNest does not promise unlimited conversion.
After subscriptions open, automatic renewal can be cancelled from account billing management and Pro remains active through the paid period. A first renewal failure enters a grace period of up to 7 days while Stripe may retry. Successful recovery keeps Pro; only an unresolved failure after the grace period, subscription end or confirmed full refund returns the account to Free. Saved templates are retained. Refunds follow applicable law, billing facts and the refund rules published at launch.
Downgrading does not delete saved naming templates. Advanced template execution and other Pro access may pause, while templates remain available after resubscription or until lawfully deleted.
Review previews and keep backups of important files. OCR accuracy is not guaranteed; blur, skew, glare, handwriting and complex layouts can cause missing or incorrect text, and users must review results. When adding a custom background, you must have permission to use it and avoid images containing sensitive information that should not be shared. Do not use the service for unlawful content, system attacks, quota circumvention or infringement of others' rights.
