Give repeat file work one front door: add files or a folder once, inspect the mix and obvious risks, split the workload into FileNest routes that actually exist, and see which exact routes are already in your saved flows. The current version deliberately uses metadata only so convenience does not create new privacy or false-understanding risk.

Repeat Work Loop / one path from ingest to verified reuse

This is the same six-stage spine used by the live Work Session below, not a second workflow. If Next Return Action appears above, recover unfinished or repair work first. A new run starts at Ingest once and then follows the current single next action.

  1. Stage 1 / 6Ingest onceChoose this batch of files or a folder once in Smart Intake. FileNest inspects metadata locally in the browser without reading file contents or OCR text and without uploading files.
  2. Stage 2 / 6Check & routeSafe workloads continue to real routes while stop items, review-required items and fallback work stay isolated. A few exceptions no longer block the clean majority.
  3. Stage 3 / 6ProcessEligible image, PDF and data workloads reuse the same selection without reselecting files. Destination tools still run only after an explicit user open; an opened route or tool_success proves processing only.
  4. Stage 4 / 6ReviewProcessing success is not quality approval. The Work Session accepts only current review evidence bound to this run; failed or stale evidence stops the path here.
  5. Stage 5 / 6DeliverAfter review is established, confirm delivery separately. Delivered, failed or structurally not-required outcomes remain distinct evidence; the run is finished only when the Completion Gate says COMPLETE.
  6. Stage 6 / 6Verified reuseOnly a fully closed eligible result may be explicitly saved as a Verified Repeat Policy. Every later batch is checked again; version drift, new exceptions, fallback or failure stops automatic reuse.

Safety boundary: this six-stage overview mirrors the real Smart Intake loop. It does not read file contents, upload files, automatically open or run destination tools, or treat an opened route or ordinary tool_success as review, delivery or final completion. For repeat work, remember one rule: ingest once and let the safe path continue; stop only for an exception or missing evidence.

Smart Intake uses only metadata already exposed by your browser: name, relative path, extension, size, MIME type and modification time. It does not read file contents, run OCR, upload files or act as antivirus.

Inspect metadata for up to 5,000 files at once. This intake cap does not raise any live tool's batch, quota or file-size limits.

Add real files or a folder before FileNest suggests current routes from metadata. A filename that looks like an invoice is never treated as proof that the content was understood.
